Monetizing your WordPress blog
A lot of people claim that they blog for fun. And that is true, but let’s face it, who doesn’t want to make a little extra money on the side? Since the beginning of blogging, bloggers found out that there was a way to monetize their blogs, and they took advantage of it. Now there are a lot of bloggers who blog for money! And I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. WordPress blogs are the most customizable blogs ever. And because they are so customizable, people have taken advantage of this.
Developers have created tons of plugins to help bloggers manage their advertisements. And some themes, mostly premium themes, come with customized ad space built in already. But when you have themes that don’t come with that, I recommend the plugin “My Ad Manager”, which allows you to sell ad space on your blog. As a matter of fact, if you take a look at my sidebar, the 125x125 ads are managed by this plugin. It’s a really great plugin, and if you’re looking to make the most out of your ad spaces, this is the plugin to go for.
